Leading governmental and commercial organizations trust MaxID integrated mobile identity management solutions.

With more than 25,000 identity devices deployed around the world, MaxID is proud to support key government agencies, border patrol organizations, oil and gas companies, cruise ship terminals, port authorities, police forces and other entities with vulnerable perimeters. We have helped implement diverse identity programs and put integrated mobile identity management solutions in place to meet our customers’ unique perimeter security needs. Here are just a few examples of how our solutions improve security around the world.

Corporate Island, Singapore
A man-made island in Southeast Asia is home to many of the world’s major producers of petroleum products, polycarbonate resins and super absorbent polymers. The island is strategically and economically critical to both the nation that owns it as well as the companies that reside there. MaxID helps protect the island’s perimeter with more than 120 iDL500 handheld devices. Security personnel use the computers to scan smartcards and biometrically verify every person entering or exiting the island via 16 incoming lanes of traffic.

Foreign National Vessels, US Coast
Before tankers can dock at US ports, maritime law enforcement officials use MaxID handheld devices and software to biometrically verify members of the crew while the tanker is several kilometers offshore. MaxID software gathers biometric and biographic data from key databases and utilizes it in the handheld devices. This enables the identity management solution to effectively validate identities at sea, where little or no wireless connectivity is available.

Federal Agency, USA
A federal agency responsible for nuclear material handling policies uses MaxID handheld readers and MaxIDentity Suite software to manage access to secure and sensitive government facilities. Together the hardware and software provide an integrated solution that allows officials to read and verify employees’ Personal Identity Verification (PIV) cards and validate the identity of individuals entering the secured areas.

Canal Expansion, Central America
Port authorities are currently expanding a major canal in central America. Throughout the duration of the project, MaxID Mobile Badge Management software will help track and coordinate movement of workers. The software will integrate with a physical access control system to record and synchronize access to the construction site via multiple portable gates.

Oil Field, Iraq
A major oil company depends on MaxID to secure the perimeter of and control access to one of the largest oil fields in the world. The company uses handheld devices operating the Mobile Badge Management Suite to read workers’ MiFare access cards at remote access points around the facility. The solution verifies access privileges and synchronizes the movement of people with the facility’s physical access control system.

Maritime Facilities, USA
MaxiDL500 handheld devices and MaxIDentity Suite software provide an integrated solution that helps enforce the Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) program at regulated maritime facilities throughout the United States. The solution effectively validates the identities of U.S. credentialed merchant mariners as well as maritime workers who require unescorted access to various areas of port facilities, outer continental shelf facilities and vessels regulated by security legislation.

Passenger Cruise Terminal, US West Coast
One of the largest cruise ship terminals in the US relies on MaxID iDL500 handheld devices to keep its vast parking lot secure. Port security continuously patrols the lot to monitor entry and exit to the passenger terminal and cruise ships. The officials use the computers to read and verity TWIC cards and state identity cards.

Law Enforcement, South Africa
MaxID iDL500 handheld devices and MaxID software help law enforcement officers in South Africa reduce crime and corruption. The officers can use the solutions to verify driver’s licenses and biometrically check fingerprints against the national criminal most wanted database. To prevent unauthorized use of the handheld devices, the solution identifies each law officer by his fingerprint.

Civil-Military Public Airport, USA
The largest commercial airport in the American Southwest successfully uses the MaxID Mobile Badge Management software to monitor and manage all working personnel in the airport. The solution gathers information about each employee entering the secure facility and uses it to audit the security of the airport on a regular basis.
